Woodbridge Village Center to Host Grand Re-Opening
It's always an enjoyable time to get our community together, especially when it's to celebrate something incredibly special.
This Saturday, July 28th, Irvine will come together in the heart of Woodbridge to celebrate the Grand Re-Opening of the Woodbridge Village Center. After nearly 40 years of serving our community, the Center recently underwent a $30 million remodel. In July of 2016, I had the privilege of chairing the city meeting in which these improvements were approved.
I can remember visiting this center with my family when there was a Vons (where Grocery Outlet is now), Penguin's Frozen Yogurt (where CorePower Yoga is now), and Thrifty's drugstore (Barnes and Noble). "Denny" Quigley of Denise's Hallmark has been a good friend for many years. Times have changed a little, but some staples like Del Taco, Ruby's and the movie theatre remain.
The Ribbon cutting begins just before 11:30, but click here for a full schedule of events.
