Big Thanks to Mayor Pro Tem Carroll for his Support of the Irvine Historical Society

I want to thank Mayor Pro Tem Mike Carroll for bringing additional awareness to the Irvine Historical Society located in James Irvine's historic ranch house.

The Irvine Historical Museum, located at 5 San Joaquin in the Rancho San Joaquin area, will benefit significantly from new signs along Culver Drive installed at Councilmember Carroll's request that will help direct the attention of drivers and residents to this community jewel.

I have been a big fan of the Historical Society's work and dedication to preserving Irvine's storied heritage and fascinating history. Earlier this year, I was pleased to introduce then-Boy Scout Noah Gray, to the volunteers of the Irvine Historical Society. Noah, along with friends and family, restored an agricultural vehicle on the Museum's premises and in doing so, earned the rank of Eagle Scout.

Additionally, I hosted a "Pop-Up City Hall" at the Museum in the summer where dozens of our neighbors came to offer suggestions, get information on city projects, and visit the Museum. Many who attended admitted that our event was the first time they had ever visited the Irvine Historical Museum.
