Kuo Appointed to OC Emergency Medical Services Committee

ORANGE COUNTY, CA - Last night, Irvine Vice Mayor Anthony Kuo was unanimously selected to serve on the Orange County Emergency Medical Services Committee.


This appointment was made by the Orange County City Selection Committee, made up of Mayors from throughout Orange County. Kuo will represent all the cities of Orange County and join representatives from the Orange County Medical Association, the Ambulance Association of Orange County, the American Red Cross, the Orange County Fire Chiefs Association, and other appointees.


The Orange County Emergency Medical Services Committee advises the Board of Supervisors and Orange County Emergency Medical Services on all matters relating to emergency medical services in Orange County.


Irvine's Vice Mayor, Anthony Kuo is the first member of the Irvine City Council to have grown up in Irvine. He was first elected in 2018 after nearly eight years as a City Commissioner. He represents the City of Irvine on the Boards of the Irvine Barclay Theatre and the Orange County Sanitation District. Kuo also represents the City on the Board of Directors of the Irvine Community Land Trust where he is President and the Orange County Fire Authority where he is Vice Chairman. Outside of City Hall, Kuo also serves on the Boards of the Irvine Children's Fund and the Advisory Board of Crime Survivors Inc.
